My Inability Isn't An Obstacle but an Opportunity
What if your limitations aren’t obstacles to God’s plan?
In Acts 2, Jesus has given His followers an overwhelming mission: take the gospel to the ends of the earth. There’s just one problem—they don’t appear capable of doing it. They lack formal training, they face enormous cultural and language barriers, and they have no power to change anyone’s heart.
Then Pentecost happens.
The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary people to do what they could never accomplish on their own. But the evidence of the Spirit’s work doesn’t end with wind, fire, tongues, and 3,000 people being saved. It continues in a community devoted to learning, praying, giving, gathering, worshiping, and witnessing.
In this message from our Plan A series through Acts, we discover an encouraging truth:
Your inability is not an obstacle to God’s activity.
You may not have the talent, training, resources, or confidence you think you need. God’s Plan A has never depended upon extraordinary people—it depends upon ordinary people empowered by the Holy Spirit.
