Some people will be amazed by the gospel. Others will be annoyed. Acts 3–4 shows us both responses.

After Jesus transforms the life of a man who had been lame from birth, Peter and John refuse to make the miracle about themselves. They point everyone to the risen Christ. But when their witness brings opposition, they refuse to shrink back. Instead, the church prays for greater boldness.

When people are amazed, don’t make it about you. When people are annoyed, don’t make it about them. Either way, make it about Jesus.
