Why am I being asked to link my bank account again?
Due to recent Dwolla changes former personal accounts have now been converted to Dwolla Direct accounts. This requires your bank account to be linked once more but the details will be saved, making giving a breeze from now on!

How much are Dwolla's fees?
Creating an account is free and transactions are free. There are no additional percentages or hidden fees.

How are Dwolla's fees free?
Dwolla does not accept credit or debit cards, only a bank account or credit union account. Dwolla is able to offer a free transaction fee by keeping credit and debit card processing fees out of their network entirely. If Dwolla were to accept credit cards or debit cards, they'd have to increase rates by 2.7% +$0.30 per transaction.

Can I fund my Dwolla account with a debit or credit card?

Is giving online using Dwolla safe?
Yes, when you use Dwolla, you share only your unique Dwolla ID, email or phone number. As an added layer of security, you’re prompted to enter your unique four digit PIN every time you send, deposit, withdraw money or make any major change to your account. Unlike paper checks or credit card transactions, your financial information is not transmitted when making a purchase, limiting the threat of possible identity theft.
